MAY 2016 – What changes have we noticed?

In the heart of Havana you can’t miss the upgrades going on. Everything from hotel facelifts, new stores opening up, and easier access to internet at central Wi-Fi spots across town.
More building materials means young church plans can move forward in faith, as their buildings begin to take shape. Small grocery stores (we call them a dairy in NZ) still have very limited supplies. I was blown away by seeing a Maersk shipping container roaming through downtown Havana on the back of a truck, a cruise ship had arrived. These are just a few of the many changes beginning to take place.
