We are Carl and Kathy Most. Originally from New Zealand, we had the pleasure of coming alongside and serving the Nicaraguan people from 1998 to 2017. It was an amazing journey over those years, in which we have found ourselves working in a wide variety of areas: short term teams, orphanages, discipleship classes, and pastoral training etc. In January of 2005, we began serving with Caribbean Ministries Association, whose main focus is to equip church leaders for the work of the ministry.
Partnering with the Nehemiah Center, in Nicaragua, we were blessed to be able to initiate a youth leadership development program. This program equipped youth leaders, and their churches, challenging them to step outside their churches and serve at-risk youth and their families.
In 2013, we received an invitation to take this training, and the testimony of it’s impact, to Cuba and train pastors and youth leaders there, who also have a great need and interest to reach and serve the youth and families of their fast changing and challenging country.
Kathy often works with Carl in these different ministries and continues to serve and join the Lord in several other exciting ministries He has given her. One recent connection has been to work in collaboration with Word of Joy Ministries, who have a growing presence in Cuba with Women’s Conferences through out the island.
As we look forward we seeing signs of opportunities for widening our outreach to include the islands of the Bahamas where we look forward to working with the church leadership there and strengthening the common vision of more healthy growing Churches, actively involved in missional living.
